I have registered to take part in SOS Radio Week, as an individual, with the Special Event Call Sign GB26RNLI. Not only is this my first time taking part in this event, it’s the first time I have applied for a SE call sign, and it was really easy to do on the Ofcom site. I’ll create a new page and link to it on the menu bar with details, and operation plans etc as time goes on. I’ll probably be mostly on HF and will be operation /P around Fife. I’ll maybe try and get permission to operate from a Lifeboat station or two for a short time over the month, if I do get permission I’ll post it on my page and on Twitter.
